BE NKY Growth Partnership, Northern Kentucky’s regional economic development authority, has appointed a new chief economic development officer.

The organization announced on Monday that it promoted Kimberly Rossetti, the current vice president of economic development, to the role.

In the role, Rossetti will implement and execute economic development strategies for Northern Kentucky, while playing a key leadership role in BE NKY’s Build + Elevate 2032 campaign, a five-year economic development and fundraising initiative.

“When my family moved here seven years ago, Northern Kentucky welcomed us with open arms, and we fell deeply in love with the region,” Rossetti said in a news release. “I am invested in this work and honored to be the Chief Economic Development Officer at BE NKY. I look forward to continuing our team’s work of growing the economy, creating good jobs and strengthening prosperity across Northern Kentucky.”

BE NKY’s economic development team focuses on attracting new businesses to Northern Kentucky and supporting the growth and expansion of existing companies through a business retention program.
