Storm cleanup just got a little easier for Kenton County residents.
Kenton County Library cardholders can freely borrow 300 different tools, including “chainsaws, water pumps, fans, ladders, saws, drills, garden equipment and other tools that can help with clearing debris” to help mitigate storm damage around their homes, according to the library.
The program is called Empower Tools. Cardholders in good standing can borrow up to three tools for up to seven days. First-time borrowers must fill out a borrower’s agreement and present a valid ID.
Empower tools is located at the Hellman Creative Center on MLK, Jr. Boulevard. They’re open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday. Learn more at kentonlibrary.org/empower-tools.
