A two-vehicle collision in Florence claimed the life of a Cincinnati woman on Monday afternoon.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Department announced that 55-year-old Shirley Hadden was killed while attempting to turn left out of the parking lot at 7405 Industrial Road. Hadden was transported by Florence Emergency Management Services to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, where she was pronounced dead.
Two passengers were in the vehicle with Hadden, both of whom were transferred to area hospitals with serious injuries. The driver of the other car was also hospitalized with what officials described as serious but non life-threatening injuries.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Unit is investigating the
collision. Speed and alcohol or drug impairment are not believed to be factors.
