Horizon Community Foundation Establishes St. Elizabeth Nourish Food Pantry Fund
New fund supports access to nutritious food for cancer patients and families during treatment
Covington, KY – May 18, 2026 — Horizon Community Foundation of Northern Kentucky has established the St. Elizabeth Nourish Food Pantry Fund, creating a new opportunity for donors to support cancer patients and families facing food insecurity while undergoing treatment.
Located at the St. Elizabeth Yung Family Cancer Center, the Nourish Food Pantry provides patients and their families with healthy food options, including fresh produce and protein, to help support their health and recovery. For many individuals undergoing cancer treatment, medical costs and time away from work can create financial stress that makes it difficult to afford nutritious meals.
Since opening in 2023, the Nourish Food Pantry has distributed more than 77,000 pounds of food, providing over 64,000 meals to more than 11,000 individuals in the region.
The new St. Elizabeth Nourish Food Pantry Fund at Horizon Community Foundation allows individuals, businesses, and community partners to contribute directly to sustaining and expanding the pantry’s impact.
