Hot off the press and high on the heels of the Kentucky State High School Athletic Association’s recent sanctioning of girls’ flag football as a varsity sport, the Northern Kentucky Youth Football League (NKYFL) voted unanimously to launch the first girls-only flag football league.
As the oldest incorporated youth football and cheerleading organization in the United States, we are proud to expand our 68-year tradition. Our inaugural season will feature girls ages 8-12 from seven different counties competing in their own dedicated division.
