The Covington Neighborhood Collaborative, a consortium of Covington’s neighborhood associations, will host a community summit in May.
Dubbed “Encouraging the Livable City,” the event will feature speakers, panels and other opportunities for planning out future civic engagement among the city’s residents.
“Covington is at its best when neighbors can show up, learn together and help shape what comes next,” said JT Spence, who’s serving as the community summit’s chair. “This Summit is designed to be welcoming, practical and resident-shaped—so ideas are captured clearly and the path to ongoing civic participation is visible.”
The event will take place on Saturday, May 16 at the Life Learning Center on West 18th Street. The event is free, but registration is required ahead of time. Lunch will be provided.
