The city of Alexandria has been awarded the USA Pickleball Serves “Grow the Game” grant.
This grant includes:
- 48 wooden paddles
- 100 pickleballs
- 2 portable nets
- Educational resources
- A direct connection with a USA Pickleball Ambassador in the area.
The courts will be in Alexandria Community Park, where the old basketball court was near the softball fields. The city expects the project to be completed in 2026.
