Omnicare announced that it will close a CVS Health facility in Boone County, resulting in the loss of 77 jobs.
The pharmacy, located at 350 Aristocrat Drive, will start terminations on Oct. 11, according to a WARN Notice Report. Omnicare informed the Kentucky Department of Workforce Development in a letter dated Aug. 6. The letter did not state a reason for the pharmacy’s closure.
The pharmacy closure will result in job cuts for delivery drivers, pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, managers, and other staff.
Omnicare is listed as CVS Health Pharmacy LLC on the WARN notice report. Omnicare, located in downtown Cincinnati, was purchased by CVS Health in 2015.
The property is currently listed for sale on LoopNet. The 16,818-square-foot building was constructed in 2005.
