Kenton County is warning residents to beware of scam calls posing as Kenton County Animal Services.
“Our team recently became aware of phishing attempts claiming to be Kenton County Animal Services to get residents to send money for pet surgeries,” reads an announcement on Kenton Animal Services’ Facebook page. “These calls are NOT real. Our team does not accept any payments over the phone. All transactions are done in person at the animal shelter. Please don’t fall victim to these scams.”
