The Boone County Sheriff is searching for a suspect in connection to the robbery of a liquor store in Walton that occurred Tuesday evening.
At approximately 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30, police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Blue Pantry Liquor store on Richwood Road. The suspect is a Black male, who was dressed in dark clothes and black fur boots. The suspect threatened the store’s clerk with a gun before exiting the store with cash from the register. The clerk was unharmed.
The suspect fled in an SUV, what police believe to be a red or maroon Chevrolet Traverse. The office has released security camera footage from the incident in an effort to better identify the suspect. You can watch the footage on the sheriff’s office’s Facebook page.
