The Florence Police Department’s No Shave November fundraiser resulted in a $2,608 donation to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center’s Division of Oncology.

The department allowed officers to wear a beard at work during the month of November to raise funds for the cancer center, with each participating officer donating at least $25 to the cause.

The donation total exceeded the $2,500 goal, and the department said they are grateful for the community’s support in the endeavor.
