The Boone County Fiscal Court has approved hiring two emergency dispatchers for the Public Safety Communications Center.
Brooklyn Westerman and Ashley Schwanenberger possess previous experience in the field, Boone County Human Resources Director Lori Zombek said.
“We are very pleased they have applied, wanted to come on board and are getting started very quickly,” Zombek said.
The are presently five emergency dispatcher vacancies at the Public Safety Communications Center and there are six individuals in testing, Zombek said.
