Florence-based smoothie franchise Better Blend Nutrition is opening 10 new locations in Kentucky and Ohio.
The expansion plans were announced in a post on the company’s official Facebook page. As of now, there are three Better Blend locations in the Greater Cincinnati area: Florence, downtown Cincinnati and Cincinnati’s Clifton Heights neighborhood.
On the Ohio side of the river, Better Blend will be opening locations in Mason, Loveland, Oakley, Anderson Township and West Chester. In Northern Kentucky, locations are coming to Fort Mitchell, Highland Heights, Independence and Union.
In addition, Better Blend is breaking into the Louisville market with a store set to open in the Saint Matthews area this summer.
According to their Facebook page, the Fort Mitchell, Loveland and Mason locations are also set to open this summer, while Highland Heights and Oakley are coming in the spring of 2024.
Better Blend was founded in 2018 by Issac Hamlin after he graduated from the University of Kentucky with a business management degree. His franchise specializes in crafting smoothies called “Blends,” with healthy ingredients low in calories, fat, carbs and sugar.
In March, Better Blend received Leap Funding from Main Street Ventures, which provides revenue-generating businesses with $10,000 to $30,000 of equity-free funding to scale their business.
