It’s officially spooky time and the weather is setting a gloomy tone.

Although it is cloudy and generally wet outside, it looks like the Northern Kentucky area may stay dry during trick-or-treating hours.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a 40% chance of rain in the afternoon with most of the precipitation expected after 1 p.m. Leading into the evening, there is a 30% chance before 10 p.m.

If it does rain, it will likely be a light rain as the precipitation amounts are expected to be less than a 10th of an inch.

The temperature highs for today are expected to reach the mid-60s and lows in the low-50s.

It may be best to incorporate some rain boots and a jacket into your kiddo’s costumes.
