Power is being restored across Northern Kentucky after after a peak of about 2,000 people were without it Monday night.

Storms moved across the region in the early evening, with high winds that downed lines across Kenton and Campbell counties.

Outages and downed power lines were reported in Newport and Covington, and Kenton County Dispatch told LINK nky they had been informed of more downed power lines in Villa Hills, Crescent Sprints, Ludlow and Fort Mitchell.
