At the March city council meeting, officials welcomed Fort Thomas native Tim Schneider as the new city attorney. He replaces longtime city attorney Jann Seidenfaden who retired this month.
Schneider is well-known in the city. He is a founding partner in Fort Thomas-based Fessler, Schneider & Grimme and will continue with his private practice there.
“I’m very excited to take on this new role in Fort Thomas,” said he said. “I love this city, grew up here and raised my family here so I know just how special this place is. We have a lot to look forward to as a city and I’m honored to play a part.”
Schneider received his law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1988. He was a partner with David Fessler in Covington for 10 years in Covington before joining with Joe Grimme to form Fessler, Schneider & Grimme.
The firm has served the community for about 20 years. After 19 years at a building they owned at 14 North Grand (now home to Padrino Restaurant), the firm moved into new offices at 20 North Grand last year. At the time, the partners said it was important to them to keep their practice in Fort Thomas.
