Governor Andy Beshear announced the appointment of Olivia Birkenhauer to the state Bicycle and Bikeway Commission (KBBC).
Birkenhauer, of Wilder, is one of four new appointments announced for the commission, which was formed by the state legislature in 1992 to promote the interests of bicyclists in advising the secretary of transportation, and other goals.
She is a mountain bike skills instructor at Got Dirt Mountain Bike Training.
Birkenhauer’s term is through October 20, 2024.
