Three Mile Road will be closed to through-traffic starting Monday through Friday.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced that a project to replace a bridge over Three Mile Creek is slated to begin on Monday.

Local traffic will have access to the road while the $992,429 project is underway.

All other traffic will be detoured using Three Mile to Johns Hill Road to the Northern Kentucky University roundabout to Connector Drive to the University Drive roundabout back to Three Mile.

 

Work is scheduled to be completed and the new bridge opened by the end of the day on Nov. 13.
