| A new barber shop called “That Lady Barber” is now open in the Midway District of Fort Thomas.

The Midway District in Fort Thomas is getting a new shop – “That Lady Barber”, located at 1051 S. Fort Thomas Ave., opened a few doors down from The Pub on Tuesday.

Owner Laura Novak, who used to work at the Barber just a few doors down next to Vanity Salon, had worked for Jim O’Neill for the past 2 years or so. Last month, Jim decided to retire and Laura found herself with some different options. “Having my own shop has been a goal for a while-the other place reflected Jim & his jovial personality. This shop is more representative of me…although it’s still a work in process!”
While the shop is now open for business by appointment, there will also be a ribbon cutting ceremony and Grand Opening on August 29 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
