A scary car crash blocked US-27 southbound near Raising Canes today in Cold Spring at about 3:00 p.m.

A vehicle was trapped under a semi truck at the exit of Raising Canes  near the intersection of Martha Layne Collins Blvd at the County Square Market development. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene to help the passengers out, but it’s not clear at the time of this report how many passengers were in the vehicle or whether there were injuries involved.

Police are on scene and advising motorists to use an alternate route.

UPDATE, 4:35 p.m.: Per Cold Spring Police: no injuries reported.
