The Highlands Soccer program is at an all-time high.
The Girls Program plays Sacred Heart in the State Finals Saturday at 6:00 p.m., while the Boys play in the State Finals against Louisville St. X at 8:00 p.m.
Carter Holmes goal in the semi-finals, which ended up being the game winner, was incredible.
Just eight seconds into the second half, Holmes, a senior, launched a quick kick off the opening pass about 60 yards above a stunned Hopkinsville keeper.
The goal was good enough to make SportsCenters’ Top 10.
