The Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky’s Transit Center at the Kenton County Parking Garage in Covington is closed for a month.
Kenton County is repaving the bus lane, according to TANK spokesperson Gina Douthat.
Temporary bus stops have been set up across the street on Madison Avenue.
The center underwent a major renovation and was closed for an extended period before reopening in October 2016.
At the time, it was noted that 488 buses pass through the center each day and that 1,200 people use the center as a pick-up or drop-off point each weekday.
Douthat said that the county had hoped to complete its bus lane work in conjunction with the center’s renovation but the timing did not work out.
It will be closed throughout April.
