Thomas More College junior guard Damion King was named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Men’s Basketball Player of the Week on Monday.
King and the Saints posted a 2-0 record last week to claim the top spot in the league standings.
He finished the week averaging 17 points, 6 assists, and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 47.8 percent (11-of-23) from the floor and 92.3 percent (12-of-13) from the free throw line.
In Wednesday’s win over Saint Vincent College, King led the Saints with 18 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. He followed that up with a 16-point, five assist and three rebound effort Saturday against Grove City College.
Thomas More returns to action on Wednesday when it travels to Greenville, Pennsylvania to play Thiel College at 7:30 p.m.
