A Covington man is dead after a “drug deal gone wrong”.
Boone County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 100 block of Deer Trace Drive in Walton on Saturday, just past 7 p.m., after receiving a report of a shooting there.
Tyler Ryan, 25, of Covington, was found dead in the front yard of 165 Deer Trace Drive. Investigators believe that Ryan was killed in a “drug deal gone wrong”, according to a news release.
Investigators continue to comb through evidence, the release said, to determine what happened and who was involved.
