A boy, riding his bike in Alexandria when he was hit by a pickup truck, has died from his injuries.
The incident happened at 7:12 a.m. in the area of 7930 Alexandria Pike, near Campbell County Middle School.
Police described the boy as a juvenile but gave no other information. The victim, his school and the driver have not been identified.

Police say the driver did not turn around after the accident. They are not releasing the boy’s name.
