Glasses were raised and bellies were filled in a special Saturday night dinner in Covington.
The old Citizens Telephone Building near the foot of the Roebling Suspension Bridge welcomed 60 guests for the Farmers Market to Table Dinner, a benefit for the Covington Farmers Market, which operates on Saturdays on Third Street outside the building.
The interior of the historic structure – part of which will soon occupy a new sports bar & grill – was transformed into an elegant setting where a top-notch evening was served.
Guests, in addition to mouthwatering courses from some of the best folks at the Farmers Market, received gift bags and could bid on a silent auction, while sipping on local beer and wine to the sounds of the Red Cedars.
