G.E.T. Together, a collaborative, interactive series, will debut in 2016-2017 at The Carnegie. It will bring together The Carnegie’s Gallery, Education, and Theatre departments with five events in its premiere season.

The G.E.T. Together line-up:

Oct. 7, Drinking About Art: The Bob Ross Debate, 7:30 p.m. Artist Michael Stillion and art historian Kim Paice humorously debate the merits of ubiquitous PBS painter, Bob Ross. This “art lecture” is also an interactive drinking game! So raise your glass when you hear the secret word, catch a ping-pong ball in your cup for a prize, or stay sober and laugh the night away. OTRimprov are special guests. Pre-event happy hour with light hors d’oeuvres included.

Tickets: $21 adults, $18 students, includes complimentary drink and light appetizers.

Dec. 10, Happy Holidays with The Kentucky Choirs, 3 and 7:30 p.m.  Join college, university, and high school choirs from across Northern Kentucky in a celebration of the season. There will be a holiday market of handmade crafts, a hot cocoa bar (your choice of toppings) and kids’ crafts.

Tickets: $21 adults, $18 students, includes one trip to the Hot Cocoa Bar

Feb. 11, Team Karaoke Challenge, 7 p.m. A team-based Karaoke event with the audience as judge. The elimination tournament features three rounds of play. $1,000 in prizes will go to the 1st – 3rd place teams. Happy hour at 6 p.m.

Tickets: $21 adults, $18 students, includes one complimentary drink.

March 2, Charlie Chaplin in THE KID: Classic Film, Live Music, 7:30 p.m. Chaplin’s first feature-length film has The Tramp coming across an abandoned baby and raising him to boyhood. Laughs and tears! Accompanied live by pianist Jeff Rapsis who brings a fresh score and audience participation encouraged.

Tickets: $21 adults, $18 students

June 3, The Most Epic Birthday Party Ever!, 2 p.m. Carnegie Student All-Stars perform the musical The Moat Epic Birthday Party Ever. The show will co-star games, cupcake decorating, a petting zoo, an epic water balloon fight and more.

Tickets: $16 adults and students, admission includes activities and show
