The campaign for United States President comes to Covington on Monday.
Hillary Clinton, the leading candidate for the Democratic nomination for POTUS, will open an office at 128 West Pike Street at 6 p.m. on Monday.
The Democratic primary in the Commonwealth is May 17, along with local and legislative primary elections. The Republican caucus took place in March.
Clinton won Kentucky in the 2008 Democratic primary over now-President Barack Obama. She is locked in a tight race with Senator Bernie Sanders (D-Vermont) in West Virginia, and some expect a similarly tight scenario in Kentucky which has similar demographics and concerns over the future of coal.
