Merchants & Music continually draws record-breaking crowds with its headlining acts. FTM file.

Grammy-nominated Brothers Osborne will headline the 13th Annual Merchants & Music Festival, which takes place September 24 at Tower Park.

With top-of-the-chart hits including “Stay a Little Longer” and “Rum,” Washington Post calls the duo “the embodiment of country music’s evolution.” The siblings will have just finished a summer tour opening for Miranda Lambert.

Other artists performing throughout the day include:

• Lexington-based Sundy Best, which has played at Keeneland, Churchill Downs, Fourth St. Live and Southgate House. Rolling Stone magazine, which highlighted them as one of the “10 New Artists You Need to Know” Summer 2014, describes them as “Loggins and Messina meets Eli Young Band, with a helping of hippie hand percussion, Appalachian folk and a love for Lil Wayne.”

• Nashville-based Humming House, which American Songwriter magazine calls “infectious and grin-inducing.” Listen to them perform “Gypsy Django” here.

• The Kentucky HeadHunters

• Wildwood

• Tana Matz

According to promoters, last year’s Merchants & Music Festival drew more than 18,000 people to see its headlining act, Bret Michaels. Past headlining acts at this free, annual festival have included Edgar Winter, Jo Dee Messina, John Michael Montgomery and Dustin Lynch.

This year’s free festival will run from 1pm to midnight, and in addition to music will include booths from local businesses, beer and bourbon. Follow the Merchants & Music Facebook page and Fort Thomas Matters for more Merchants & Music Festival updates throughout the summer.
