Live from Fort Thomas it was Saturday Night! Â All your favorite Fort Thomas characters dressed like all your favorite Saturday Night Live characters last Saturday, March 5, to attend the annual Fort Thomas Education Foundation Fundraising Dance.
This year, the dance returned to the Fort Thomas Mess Hall where the Naked Karate Girls performed the best party music of the last three decades while Matt Foley danced with Wayne and Garth, the Target Lady grooved with Opera Man, and Pete Schweddy got sweaty with his NPR co-hosts.
The FUNdraising dance raised a lot of money, all of which goes to support the Fort Thomas schools with grants to teachers, construction support, and other needed items to fill the funding gap left by the state’s school funding approach. If you couldn’t make the dance it is not too late to contribute to this year’s FTEF Annual Appeal. The annual appeal wraps up this month and Teacher Grants will be awarded in May
