Officer Nathan Day received a thank you note for his assurances with a disabled motorists waiting for AAA to arrive. She said that she was broken down with her grandchildren in the care and Officer Day came by to offer assistance. She said that she felt much safer with him there and that he made a scary situation much easier to deal with.

The entire departments received a thank you from a property owner on Mary Ingles Highway for providing extra patrol and keeping trespassers off their property. They had been causing damage.

Enforcement

In June officers wrote 19 speeding charges, 4 DUI charges, 36 charges for non-traffic offenses (warrants, assaults, disorderly conduct, etc) and 107 traffic charges.

Officers also issued 94 written warnings and totaled 24 court appearances.

There were 23 drug related charges placed against 15 adults and 4 charges against 4 juveniles. Give of the individuals were Fort Thomas residents and traffic stops led to 10 of the charges.
