The peer-to-peer ride-sharing mobile app Lyft is now operating at the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
“Our customers want options,” said Candace McGraw, CVG CEO. “Lyft joins other ground transportation options including rental cars, taxi cabs, On-Demand Van/Shuttle and TANK.”
“People in Cincinnati have embraced Lyft as an affordable, convenient way to get around their city and we’re excited to be the first ride-sharing partner of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport,” said Bakari Brock, Lyft’s Director of Business Development. “We’d like to thank Lisa Ransom, Kim Collins, Paul Wischer and all the CVG staff for welcoming modern options like Lyft to the airport.”
“We strive to be innovative,” said Wm. T. (Bill) Robinson III, Kenton County Airport Board Chairman. “CVG is the first airport in Ohio and Kentucky to have an operating agreement with Lyft.”
Passengers using the Lyft app on their smartphone will request a ride. Once the driver and passenger are paired, the driver will pick up their passenger at the far west end of passenger pick-up. This area will be marked with overhead signage.
