On July 21 the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce will present
Eggs ‘N Issues: Riverfront Vitality from 7:30 – 9 am at Receptions
Banquet & Conference Center at 1379 Donaldson Rd. in  Erlanger, Kentucky.

Jack Moreland, president of Southbank Partners, will
discuss the organization’s efforts to revitalize the Urban Core through
economic development, promotion of tourism, and fostering urban living and

Southbank Partners’ strength comes from their interlocal
agreement, representing Bellevue, Covington, Dayton, Ft. Thomas, Ludlow and
Newport along with Kenton and Campbell counties for development of the
riverfront.

Southbank works with other area partners, the state of Kentucky and
the federal government to promote the needs of their member cities.

Most recently, Southbank Partners assisted Newport and
Ludlow in applying for $1.6 million from the Ohio Kentucky Indiana Regional Council
of Governments (OKI) which will be used to build pedestrian bridges and walking
paths along Riverfront  Commons.

Attendees will learn how their
efforts to date have impacted the region, as well as learn more about future
growth and development.

The cost
to attend the event is $20 for NKY Chamber members and $40 for future Chamber
members.
