Noah Sell. Provided.

An Alexandria teen is seeing his vision of restoring World War II monuments realized when he, along with the Campbell County VFW, will rededicate the monuments next month.

Noah Sell, 16, raised money to clean the stone pillars and refurbish the plaques that are at the entrance of the stadium at Campbell County Middle School.

The pillars are a monument to graduates of Campbell County High School who lost their lives during World War II. Sell, whose great-grandfathers served during World War II told Amanda Nageleisen:

When I was in middle school, kids always sat on these big concrete posts, and I never really knew what they were. If kids knew what they were, they wouldn’t be sitting on them.”
