The man who stole a minivan at gunpoint in Newport Wednesday afternoon parking lot is behind bars.
50-year-old William Sellers, who stole the minivan while 51-year-old Clifford Dragoo was still inside, was apprehended in Covington Wednesday night, nearly seven and a half hours after he attempted to rob Remke’s Newport location and stole the minivan to flee the scene.
Dragoo, the passenger, suffers from a mental disability, according to authorities. He and the van were located in Over-the-Rhine just over three hours after the incident.
