Police are searching for a man suspected for allegedly stabbing a man in Independence Thursday morning.
53-year-old Richard Ray Deaton is wanted for stabbing 24-year-old Randy Baird of Taylor Mill in the chest. Baird was found outside a residence on Senour Road in Independence at approximately 1 a.m.
Baird is listed in serious condition, after being airlifted from the scene to University Hospital.
Authorities suspect Deaton to be hiding somewhere in the Northern Kentucky or Greater Cincinnati area, and should be considered armed and dangerous.
