Art Off Pike Returns to Downtown Covington for Tenth Year

Art Off Pike celebrates 10 years in Covington’s downtown on Sunday with art, performances, family fun and food. 

 

Located along 7th Street between Washington and Madison from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the  annual free arts festival will feature work for sale by more than 60 local artists who will be selling their work in a variety of media. Festival-goers can work on a chalk street mural with Baker Hunt Art & Cultural Center and paint flowers and “Mix + Match Buildings” with Visionaries and Voices.

 

Performances include Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra’s “Bach and Bombox,” Bi-Okoto African Roots, and Elementz Dance. A Covington-inspired jeans jacket fashion show includes the Upcycle Jean Jacket Auction, with all proceeds going to Covington-based organizations chosen by the artists.

 

Families can compete in a movie-themed scavenger hunt and see an outdoor screening of “The Goonies.”
