Once again, Fort Thomas has been ranked among the state’s safest cities, according to a recent list released by Safe Choice Security.
Pointing specifically to Fort Thomas’s increasing friendliness toward small and new businesses, here’s what the home security provider had to say about our city on the hill:
Fort Thomas, KY is built on a former army post on the northern border of
the state. Conveniently close to Cincinnati, Ohio, Fort Thomas is
bordered by the Ohio River. With two business districts – the recently
renovated downtown area and the Midway area – and a variety of
incentives, it is an ideal location for businesses looking to relocate.
The local police department uses a unique plan called the Neighborhood
Focus Plan to effectively deal with communities in areas of the city
where crimes occur. This plan has worked so well, the city ranks #3 in
the state for safety.
Other Northern Kentucky cities to make the list include:
- IndependenceÂ
- Edgewood
- Fort Mitchell
- Alexandria
- Elsmere
