A few Fort Thomas Summer Staples are commencing in the next week.

First, the Friday Farmer’s Market starts today. Also, Fort Thomas Central will be holding Artisan Markets that correspond with this schedule. 

Then next Thursday, the Amphitheater Concert series begins with a bang when Northern Kentucky inducts members into their music hall of fame. If you go to one concert this year at Tower Park, this will be the one to go to.

Gallery to Go will be holding “Art in the Park” as well at these concerts. Here’s a list of the themes:

ART: Hit the pavement with your family and
we’ll create a graffiti sidewalk chalk art show!  

July 15: BAND:  Iconx
Band      

ART: Who knew tissue paper could make
that!  From giant flowers to stained glass, wow the things we can create!
 

July 29: BAND: Leroy Ellington and E
Funk      

ART:  Clay Creatures – what can you
sculpt?  The details of our world are amazing – let’s shrink it down to
miniature size! 

Aug 12: BAND: Diamond Head Mountain
Bluegrass      

ART:  Nature provides the medium!
  Enjoy some music with roots while we create art from sticks, leaves,
flowers and maybe even blue grass!!

Aug 26: BAND:  Carter New
Band      

ART: Our Family Motto – have a favorite
motto, verse, or inspiration and we’ll create some amazing wall art with
it! 

Sept 9: BAND: Cincinnati
Metropolitan Orchestra    

ART:  A Paint Party – We’ll provide all the
canvases, paints and supplies along with step-by-step instructions to create a
