The Charities Guild of Northern Kentucky
is proud to announce its new partnership with Burlington Coat Factory.
CGNK is
a volunteer based non-profit organization focused on improving the lives of
children and families in the Northern Kentucky area. CGNK’s primary philanthropy,
the Shoe Fund, has provided shoes to underprivileged children for over 25
years. CGNK partners with area schools, churches and social service agencies to
identify those in need and then distribute a $30 voucher for a new pair of
shoes. Starting today, these vouchers can be redeemed for shoes and socks from Burlington
Coat Factory . Burlington Coat Factory provides two convenient locations and a great variety of merchandise
appropriate for all ages. Last year, over 600 vouchers were redeemed, providing
nearly $18,000 in shoes for kids in need. When children arrive at school with
shoes in good condition, school officials report that the children are able to
