Sources exclusively tell Fort Thomas Matters that Kentucky native George Clooney has been scouting the old Mio’s location for a new restaurant. Clooney, best known for his successful acting career, has been interested in opening a restaurant in Northern Kentucky since returning to the area to film The Ides of March in 2011. His new restaurant, Rosemary’s, will be named after his famous aunt, and already promises to host screenings of White Christmas once the holiday season arrives.

According to sources, Clooney has been collecting recipes from his famous friends to create the restaurant’s menu. Here’s to hoping that Matt Damon’s Homestyle Meatloaf or Sandra Bullock’s Chicken Fried Steak end up on the menu.

I would say to go ahead and reserve us a table on opening night, but instead I’ll just say Happy April Fool’s Day from your friends at Fort Thomas Matters!
