More dangerous wind chills will be in the area on Wednesday and then more snow this weekend.
And then, a bit of a warm-up.
Low temperatures Wednesday morning will generally range from five to negative-five, the National Weather Service reported. Winds are expected to be light and even calm in some areas. However, the NWS said that even a light wind would be able to produce wind chill values of zero to ten degrees below zero.
Anyone going outside should dress warmly and make sure that all skin is covered.
Meanwhile, a disturbance moving across the area on Friday is expected to bring accumulating snow. Another system will move through the region Saturday night bringing even more snow.
Early next week, the temperatures will rise to the forties.
