Fire crews were called to the scene of a house on Tower Hill Road in the early morning hours on Sunday morning. Facebook reports on FortThomasMatters page began coming in around 2:45 AM. According to officials on scene the blaze began around 2:30 AM in the kitchen of the home.
It is believed that the homeowner was in the house at the time and died. He is believed to be the only victim.
Officials say that when they arrived on scene the home was fully engulfed and collapsed 10 minutes after they arrived.
