The new documentary film about the people and places that make Covington awesome debuted online at midnight, January 1.
The Awesome Collective of Covington produced the twenty-minute film with Matic Media by raising funds through Kickstarter and acquiring a pair of Place Matters grants.
“The Index of Awesome” premiered at The Carnegie on December 20 (SEE:Â Lights! Camera! Awesome! Premiere of Awesome Film Celebrates Covington).
The film is a follow-up to the launch of The Awesome Collective’s printed ‘zine that debuted in December 2012 (SEE:Â Awesome: The Rise of New Covington).
The people and places featured in the film were selected through online voting earlier in 2013.
