Fort Thomas Independent Schools (FTIS) are requesting community input as the district begins planning for the 2015-2016 academic year.
The 5-question survey is seeking preferences from community members regarding start- and end-dates of the school year, when spring break should occur, and other preferences for other off-days.
According to the survey, the dates for winter break are already fixed for the 2015-16 school year (12/18-1/4), as is the total number of school days required (177 days).
FTIS has used similar surveys for calendar planning in previous years.
