So,
I’ve had this pain in my neck for the last 6 years- my husband! I kid, I kid. But in all seriousness, I really do! And in my lower back from chasing
children, my joints from bending and stretching to pick up after them, and
stress and tension spots all over my body. A lot, neigh most, oh heck, ALL of you moms out there know
what I’m talking about. Dads too
and, quite frankly, everybody, knows what I mean. With that in mind, my husband and I like to book massages
for each other for special occasions but the last time he booked one for me for
my birthday it cost $93.50 PLUS a 20% tip on top of that. What if I told you thanks to the
services of a new FTM advertising partner, you could treat yourself to a relaxing
hour-long massage for less than half of what I paid last time AND shop locally?
Tiffany
Maple, sole proprietor of Anointed Touch Massage located at 18 N. Fort Thomas
Ave, is offering a special between now and year-end 2013 for first time
customers to get their first hour-long massage for only $40 (tip is customary,
per my experience). Maple, a Ft.
Thomas resident, found her passion in Massage Therapy after a career in
Athletic Training. After achieving
a Master’s Degree from Wright State University, she went on to train in massage
therapy and has since opened her own therapeutic studio. Per her website, her background and
training lends itself to a specialty in sports massage but she also does
tension relief, stress, musculoskeletal massage in either 30, 60, or 90 minute
sessions and will even come to a client’s home for those who prefer to relax in
their familiar environment.
“I
understand the body and how it should function and have extensive experience in
the rehabilitation of many muscular/joint injuries,” says Maple.
Of
starting a new studio in Fort Thomas, Maple says, “I had such an outpouring of
support from not only family but many friends that I have made in the community
[…] I have loved the way Fort Thomas residents have come around and supported
many of the small, local businesses in the area”. She went on to say, “I think Fort Thomas residents have a
true understanding of what community means and a desire to support the
entrepreneurs in the area”.
In
addition to her ongoing $40 special, Maple also gives the sixth massage free
when five are purchased or the 4th at 50% when 3 are purchased. Gift certificates are available which
may especially come in handy this holiday season (hint, hint, husband). Check out all the services and pricing
at her website at www.anointed-touch-massage.com. Maple relies on referrals for much of
her business so if you’ve had a massage from her, leave a comment in the below
offering your support. If you
haven’t yet had one yet, what are you waiting for?
