The garland is being hung
and visions of sugarplums are dancing in the heads of people all across the
tri-state. Christmas time is upon us, even if you haven’t even purchased your
Thanksgiving dressing yet. The holidays are celebrated from November first to
mid January, and whether you have the Christmas cheer or not, the big guy’s
belly is still going to shake like a bowl full of jelly.

One of the best ways to
welcome in the holiday season every year is the Greater Cincinnati Holiday Market.
The Holiday Market runs this weekend, November 15-17 at the Duke Energy
Convention Center
.

 The Holiday Market is your
one-stop-shop for everything you need for the holidays. The market features
boutique stores from all over the greater Cincinnati area offering items such
as gourmet food, home décor, specialty clothing, personal trinkets, and
countless other items that will take care of every person on your Christmas
list this year!

The date and times for this
year’s event are the following:

Friday, November 15 – 10am to 6pm

Saturday, November 16 – 10am to 6pm

Sunday, November 17 – 10am to 5pm

Running in tandem with the
Holiday Market this year will be the Cincy Specialty Food and
Treats Show
! This will provide the perfect gift destination for the foodies
on your list. The Food and Treats Show will offer items such as the finest
chocolate, desserts, candies, meats, cheeses, jams, jellies, salsas, sauces,
olive oils, spices, dips and spreads, drinks and mixes! Are you getting
hungry yet? We have one more announcement to make before you start scheduling
your entire weekend around the event.

Fort Thomas Matters has two
sets of tickets to be given to two of our lucky readers courtesy of Vehr Communications! The tickets
are in sets of four so you can take a group of your closest friends for a day
of shopping and holiday hoopla! All you have to do is leave a comment to this
article to be entered to win. Tell us what you are looking forward to most this
holiday season. The winners will be randomly drawn and announced on Wednesday.
The winner’s tickets will be available at will call at the convention center.

For more information on
the Holiday Market you can visit the event Facebook page. Admission
for adults is $8. Adults can save $3 on admission by buying a ticket at
Cincinnati-area Kroger stores. Children (ages 13 and under) are free when
accompanied by a paying adult.

For those of you who like
to plan every last second of your afternoon we also included the
floor plan for the entire event
, so that you can maximize your shopping to
relaxing ratio!

Have a great time if you
do attend the event; be sure to let us know what you’re looking forward to over
the holidays to be entered into the ticket drawing. A special thank you to Mr.
Dan Guttridge and Vehr Communications for supplying the tickets for the Holiday
Market.
