The mild temperatures that August gave us in the middle of the month are a thing of the past and a scorching seven day forecast is now in store.
The National Weather Service issued a heat index warning Tuesday through Sunday, reporting that it could feel like 95 to 100 degrees those days.
Each day this week will see a high temperature at or over 90 degrees with some low temperatures not dipping below 70.
Thunderstorms also appear in the forecast.
