State Police Bust Up $1 Million Heroin, Pills Operation at Greyhound Bus Station

From the Kentucky State Police:

The Kentucky State Police in Ashland have arrested several individuals after conducting a three month investigation into illegal drug activity at the Ashland Greyhound Bus Terminal. The Kentucky State Police in Ashland received information stating several individuals were using the Ashland Greyhound terminal as a narcotic hub to traffic illegal drugs between the Ashland/Huntington area and Detroit, MI. At that time Troopers and Detectives began conducting an ongoing investigation into the illegal activity. Over the last three months Troopers have made numerous arrests associated with drug and traffic violations. These arrested have prevented large quantities of prescription pills, heroin and marijuana from reaching the streets in the Tri-State area. This effort not only affects the drug trade but also property crimes such as Burglaries and thefts which are closely tied to drug activity.

During this investigation Troopers and Detectives have made 28 Drug arrests, 34 traffic violations cited which included 3 for Driving Under the Influence. 2 wanted subjects have also been arrested.

Troopers have seized 700 grams or 1 pound 9 ounces of uncut heroin which by the time this hits the streets would become 4 and a half pounds of heroin. The street value of this amount of heroin is over 850,000.00 dollars. We have also seized 3,250 prescription pills including Oxycodone, Xanax and Ecstacy. The street value of the prescription pills would be over 150,000.00 dollars. Three ounces of marijuana was also seized worth 300.00 dollars. Total narcotics in which Troopers prevented from hitting the streets of the tri state area is over 1,000,000.00 dollars.

	On March 5, 2013 Brandon Bostic, age 21, of Detroit, MI was arrested charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense – (> or = 2gms Heroin) and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
On March 21, 2013 Troopers conducted a traffic stop and arrested 3 individuals on drug related charges. During a search of the vehicle Troopers located over 2 ounces of heroin.
	Amy L. Falls, age 24, of Elkview, WV was arrested charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense – (>> or = 2gms Heroin), Operating a Motor Vehicle Under Influence Alcohol/Drugs 1st Offense, Failure to Wear Seatbelt, Rear License Plate not Illuminated, Failure to or Improper Signal, Failure to Notify Address Change to Department of Transportation and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
	John A. Davis, age 35, of Elkview, WV was arrested charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense – (> or = 2gms Heroin) and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
	Henry H. Miller Jr., age 25, of Detroit, MI was arrested charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense – (> or = 2gms Heroin) and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
On March 27, 2013 Troopers attempted to make contact with Danairral Christopher Everette. Upon identifying themselves as Kentucky State Troopers Everette attempted to elude Troopers and began running from the area and discarded a package containing several pills.
	Danairral C. Everette, age 21, of Detroit, MI was arrested, charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree – (Drug Unspecified), Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree (On Foot) and Resisting Arrest and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
On March 27, 2013 Troopers conducted a traffic stop and upon search of the vehicle located over 100 oxycodone pills and over 1 lb of heroin.
	Bradley Locklear, age 31, of Huntington, WV was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense – (> or = 2gms Heroin), Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (> = 10 D.U. Drug Unspecified) and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
On March 28, 2013 Troopers conducted two traffics stop and arrested 4 individuals. During a search of one vehicle Troopers located over 600 pills.
	Dustin Copley, age 30, of Huntington, WV was arrested charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (> = 10 D.U. Drug Unspecified), Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, 1st Offense (> or = 20 D.U. Drug Unspecified) and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
	Jerry L. Parker Jr, age 28, of Detroit, MI was arrested charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (> = 10 D.U. Drug Unspecified), Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, 1st Offense (> or = 20 D.U. Drug Unspecified) and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
	Ralph F. McClear III, age 53, of Huntington, WV was arrested, charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs/etc. .08 1st Offense, Failure to wear seatbelts, Failure to produce insurance card, No registration receipt and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
	Dejaun L. Finley, age 28, of Huntington, WV was arrested, charged with Fugitive from Another State and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
On April 2, 2013 a traffic stop was conducted and resulted in numerous traffic charges.
	Willie S. Esque, age 23, of Huntington, WV was arrested, charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs/etc. .08 1st Offense, Failure to wear seatbelts, Failure to illuminate head lamps, Failure to or improper signal, Failure to register transfer of motor vehicle, Failure to notify address change to Department of Transportation, Failure to produce insurance card and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
On April 10, 2013 a traffic stop was conducted and resulted in drug and traffic charges.
	Terry L. Gannon Jr, age 39, of Ironton, OH was arrested, charged with Careless driving, No operators/moped License, operating on a suspended/revoked operators license and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
	Tommy M. Smith III, age 29, of Detroit, MI was arrested, charged with Possession of marijuana and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center. Troopers located a small amount of marijuana during contact with Mr. Smith.
On May, 1, 2013 Troopers conducted a traffic stop and arrested 4 individuals on drug and traffic related charges. During a search of the vehicle Troopers located a small amount of marijuana and several grams of heroin.

	George Tolliver Jr., age 34, (address unknown) was arrested, charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense – (> or = 2gms Heroin) and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
	Steven S. Boysel Jr., age 26, (address unknown) was arrested, charged with Fugitive from another state and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
On May 1, 2013 an additional traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle with the registration plate not being legible. During the course of the traffic stop the passenger provided a false identification card and gave Troopers false information. The passenger was placed under arrested and transported to the Boyd County Detention Center. While at the detention center over 2 grams of heroin was located on the individual. The female was initially lodged as Jane Doe, but it was later determined the individual was Auroniece C. Jackson.
	Auroniece C. Jackson, age 29, of Ashland, KY was arrested, charged with Promoting Contraband 1st Degree, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense – (> or = 2gms Heroin), Theft of Identity of Another Without Consent, Giving Officer False name or Address and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
On May 8, 2013 Troopers made contact with Latiffany S. Claybron and located a small amount of marijuana during the investigation.
	Latiffany S. Claybron, age 33, of Inkster, MI was arrested, charged with Possession of Marijuana and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
On May 23, 2013 Troopers conducted a traffic stop and arrested 2 individuals on drug related charges. During a search of the vehicle Troopers located a several pills and several ounces of heroin.
	Bridgette M. Cochran II, age 21, of Detroit MI was arrested, charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense – (< 2gms Heroin), Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, 1st Offense (< 20 D.U. Drug Unspecified) and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
	Anthony Williams, age 22, of Detroit MI was arrested, charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense – (< 2gms Heroin), Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, 1st Offense (< 20 D.U. Drug Unspecified) and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
On May 28, 2013 Troopers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle being operated by Melissa Stephens. Stephens attempted to flee from police and committed several additional traffic violations before eventually stopping. During the traffic stop Troopers were able to locate over 2 ounces of heroin, several hundred pills and marijuana.
	Melissa Stephens, age 32, of Ashland, KY was arrested, charged with Reckless Driving, Failure to or Improper signal, Disregarding a stop sign, Fleeing or evading police 2nd degree, Failure to wear seatbelts, Failure to produce insurance card and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
	Frankie Davis, age 44, of Inkster, MI was arrested, charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense – (> or = 2gms Heroin), Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (> = 10 D.U. Drug Unspecified), Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, 1st Offense (> or = 20 D.U. Drug Unspecified), Possession of Marijuana and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
On June 5, 2013 Troopers made contact with Erica A. Glover. Upon speaking with Erica it was determined she had several hundred pills in her possession valued in excess of $33,000.00 and was transporting them between Detroit, MI and the Tri-State area.
	Erica A. Glover, age 25, of Detroit, MI was arrested, charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (> = 10 D.U. Drug Unspecified) and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
