Five day forecast: 42, 39 (with chance of flurries), 38, 44,
46 degrees: yep, feels like Spring in Fort Thomas which can only mean, well,
very many things actually. Too
many to list here but what I’ve done instead is list out a few of the upcoming
Easter-related activities for you and your wittle wascally wabbits (sorry, my
wascally wabbit slept 30 minutes last night, so there are going to be more bad
jokes throughout this article than Peeps in my pantry; if you’re counting at
home, that will be one bad joke because, yes, Peeps are terrible).
OK, on to the list of local activities:
FORT THOMAS
Easter Bunny Visits- Graeters- FREE/buy ice cream Sat. March
23- 2-4 p.m.
Come meet the Easter Bunny and get your picture with him.
Spring Egg Hunt – Carrico Ft. Thomas Library – FREE- Sat.
March 23- 1 p.m.
Eggs are everywhere! Help us find them and win prizes.
Registration required.
Spring
Egg Hunt– Tower Park- FREE- Sat. March 30 – 12pm The park will have over
12k eggs, Easter bunny will be available for photos, face painting, snacks and
more.
Easter Brunch- Highland Country Club –
$8-19- Sun. March 31 – 11:30 am
Come have brunch at the Country club, Easter bunny will
visit and with weather permitting an Egg hunt on the lawn. Reservations
Required.
Easter Brunch- Vitos
Café – I could not get a hold of Vito prior to deadline but they have had a
brunch with prices starting at $8 in previous years. Give them a call to check.
CINCINNATI
Easter
Egg Roll – Washington Park – FREE – Sat. March 30 – 10a.m.
Cincinnati
Zoo & Botanical Garden – Sat. March 30 – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – “An
egg-citing event for children that includes treat stations throughout the park,
children’s activities, popular animal egg hunts and visits with the Easter
Bunny.” Make sure you search for the four golden eggs located throughout the
Zoo. Included with Zoo admission.
COVINGTON
Devou Park, Volpenhein
Pavillion Sat., March 30th at
1:30 pm ages 3-12, over 8k eggs will be hidden and the Easter Bunny will make
an appearance. Bring your own basket
